At PC Projects, we’ve heard it all: Technology can be frustrating–even infuriating! It seems like it always breaks at the worst time! It’s never as fast or as easy as I need it to be! My systems are always breaking down! I can’t budget for my IT expenses–they’re too random! Why does it have to be so freaking complicated!? This sucks!
These are some snippets of a few things (with some ‘colorful’ language removed) that our prospects have said to us before they became valued clients of PC Projects. Dream with us for a moment–what if you could have your cake and eat it too? What if all that you wanted with technology could be achieved and at an affordable cost? Your IT doesn’t have to be a nightmare–this is your dream–we’re just here to shape it for you. This ‘IT’ just got real!
Why We Exist
PC Projects is a family-owned business located in Columbus, Ohio. Owned and operated by Jake and Jenn McCann (husband and wife & mindful entrepreneurs), we’ve been in business since 2002. Jake has always had a passion for helping people with their technology, so PC Projects was created in a successful effort to help prevent people from getting ‘shafted’ by the bigger IT giants (not to tout any names). ‘Big enough to handle your needs–small enough to care’ became the primary focus of the organization and still holds true to this day. IT is our passion–YOU are our focus!
Behind the Name
PC Projects was chosen by Jake’s virtuous wife(Jenn) after a long apprenticeship by a brilliant entrepreneur in Indiana, Marcus Thompson of Small Projects. Jake developed a serious passion for people, business and technology while working alongside Marcus. Upon moving back to Ohio, Jake decided to live his dream–PC Projects was born! The name fit the focus of the company, which at the time was ‘personal computers.’ Since that day, the company has grown to encompass the leveraging of all different kinds of technology–large and small; software and hardware; proven and cutting-edge. Thank you Marcus and Thank you Jenn!

If you have a computer or network, whether implemented by us or not, we can help. We offer individualized consultation services for you and your business on how to best utilize your technology. You might be fine with what you have…you might not–we’ll tell you! Schedule us for that big upcoming meeting or use us on a conference call with your own team.
It’s Personal
You’ll work side-by-side with ‘one’ technician and they’ll be available for consults when you need them. We won’t shuffle you through a round-robin of multiple technicians, leading to a constant ‘learning-curve’ every time you need a service call–that’s ridiculous! Your technician will know what you need and have all the details about your network and systems readily accessible.

We are in this for the long haul. You may need us for something small now, but we’re always looking to the future through the lens of a long-term relationship with you–don’t worry…we’re not your crazy ‘ex.’ We can do plenty of dinner/movies before we start getting intimate and talking about your future goals and dreams.
